Our on-location private training sessions begin with an in-home 2-hour long Behavior Consultation. We can help you with:
» Preparing for Puppy – We’ll get you ready for welcoming your new puppy home or give you tips for the puppy you already have. Together we’ll develop a training plan to work through nipping, chewing, potty training, crate training, socialization, handling and more.
» Foundation Skills – How to Play, Impulse Control, Sit, Down, Loose Leash Walking, Coming When Called, Manners at Home, Crate Training and Conditioning for Grooming and Veterinary Care.
» Advanced Skills – Working Around Distractions, Off-Leash Skills, Stationing, Trick Training, Cooperative Muzzle Training, Collaborative Care for Grooming and Veterinary Care.
» Behavior Modification – Working to Change: Excessive Barking and Mouthing, Separation Anxiety, Resource Guarding, Leash Reactivity, Barrier Frustration and Fear Responses toward certain experiences, novel stimuli, other dogs or people.
We’re here to give you a knowledgeable perspective and in-depth plan to help you and your dog develop new skills and overcome challenging behavior concerns.
Get started by registering for private training below. Once we receive your private training form we’ll contact you to scheduled the initial Behavior Consultation to talk in person about your training goals and come up with a plan to help you and your dog be successful in training. During the consultation we may offer recommendations for equipment to use, such as specific types of harnesses, toys and treats.
Payment for private training will be required at the time of the consultation, without exception. Notes are sent via email after your initial consultation and we encourage you to take notes during any subsequent private training sessions. We are available for phone consultations between sessions and for long-distance clients.
